We lovingly hand made this blue themed bio resin necklace using recycled marine debris, including a piece of pale blue fishing net and discarded caste netting. Collected from our beaches and waterways, marine debris, including the fishing net as well as the caste netting, are the key components in this necklace’s makeup. Recycled Marine Debris Pendant and Necklace With A Message. Recycled caste netting makes up the necklace’s cord and also forms the foundation for this unusual piece of ethical and wearable art. Added to this is a bio resin pendant with fishing net as the central feature sitting among swirls of translucent blue dye. Scattered around this are flakes of gold leaf and the odd small shell. She is a lightweight and durable piece which won’t scratch or itch but may lightly tickle you with her caste netting.   Want to change the length of the necklace? Check out our photo gallery to get some ideas of ways to  knot the netting and make it shorter.  Add as many knots wherever you like along the netting necklace. You can also make a feature of them or subtly hide them at the back of the necklace near the findings. Care of your net and resin necklace. Resin can break, so with this in mind, we send it to you in its own bag so you can store it safely away when you aren’t wearing it.
