Description Ocean Blue Unusual Eco Vegan Necklace. We had so much fun hand making this ocean blue unusual eco vegan necklace from repurposed marine debris. Using recycled cast netting for the necklace cord, we then added a pendant made using some small pieces of synthetic nylon marine cord washed up on a local beach. An Ocean Blue Unusual Eco Vegan Necklace With A Message. Recycled cast netting makes up the necklace’s cord and also forms the foundation for this unusual piece of wearable art. Added to this is a pendant with pieces of frayed, pale blue nylon marine cord encased in clear bio resin. Keeping these pieces company are micro plastics, along with some swirls of blue dye. You can wear this necklace with either side of the pendant outermost. With the clear bio resin, the pendant can therefore be viewed either side. The length of the cast netting necklace can be shortened by simply tying knots in the cast netting [ see photo gallery] This necklace also brings her own personal touch to your fashion accessory wardrobe. She is a lightweight and durable piece which furthermore won’t scratch or itch. Care for your necklace The cast netting can also be gently hand washed with soapy water if it becomes dirty or stained. Avoid submerging the stainless steel findings in warm water, though, as this may soften the small amount of jewellery glue used to hold the cast netting in place. Simply polish the pendant with a soft cloth if the surface becomes dirty.
