Brother PC501 Black Thermal Transfer Ribbon

Against my better judgement I tried to play it cheap and ordered some “generic” film rolls from an online supplier. The prints were shiny and nasty looking and the small print was unreadable. So I returned them and ordered this Brother factory cartridge from Walmart. The prints are flat black like ink and they’re as sharp as the originals. I’ve had the same problems with “reconditioned” injet cartridges so you’d think that I’d know better, right? If you want factory results pay up and use factory media. And incidentally, in most cases Walmart has about the best walk-in prices on this stuff.
