I bought this because I was DoorDashing and started getting weird customers. I know people are gonna cry and say, “you cant record people without consent” and to that I say, you actually can as long as it’s not used and some states/places you still can regardless. If you can’t record people then tell me why cops, shops, ATMS, cities/municipalities record you constantly without consent? It’s because it’s not used unless there’s proof needed of a crime. And I bought this because it was needed as evidence to prove that customers were attempting to defraud DD and get free food while blaming it on me, the driver. Which as a soldier with honor and integrity I have NEVER stolen or even tampered with a customer’s food. This camera has now provided the proof of mine (and their) actions and cleared me so I don’t get a Contract Violation. What you use it on is up to you, but it’s working amazingly for my intended purpose.PROS:- 1080p videos get broken down into 5 minute (300mb) segments that are seamless so you dont have a giant video file to edit or transfer. Just find the segment you need and you’re good.- Night vision has limited range due to IR but outstanding in quality.- Audio picks up my breathing when attached to my chest.- Clip has teeth and spring is strong and durable so it bites hard and won’t slip. Clip can be adjusted to sit any way you like. I prefer to just clip it to the left side of my hoodie top next to my neck and let it dangle.- USB-B charging port has rubber cap to keep it water resistant (I wouldn’t trust it in heavy rain).- SD Card slot for upgraded storage (32gb card was included) and can get you a few hours of recording (maybe 3-4 hours total?)CONS:- Battery life. So yeah, it’s a small device and clearly has a tiny battery. With that said, it takes 30 mins to charge on a 2A USB and will get you about 3-4 hours recording time.- Live mode needs the app from the android market. Allows you to see in realtime what the cam sees. This mode will not allow you to record and the app is very counter intuitive.- The buttons. I have large man hands and the buttons are very small. You have to long press the top power button to turn it on, then click the right button to start recording. Left button snaps a picture? Double click the right button for IR cam. Double clicking the left puts it in pairing mode for the app? Not sure 100% because the instruction booklet I got was in Chinese and the app is pretty much the same. You won’t accidentally click any because they are flush and covered in rubber, but it is hard to feel if you pressed it. I only know it’s rolling because the top blinks constantly when it is.TLDR – Good for 3-4 hrs at most before needing a charge. Small buttons. Water resistant. Great (IR) video and audio. Well worth the price point.
